There are many advantages of using precast concrete steps over poured concrete, brick, and especially wooden steps.
- Hollow and lightweight to avoid sinking and settling in soil. Poured concrete or brick steps are solid and therefore heavy, which causes them to settle and crack. Pepin Precast steps are guaranteed never to settle. In the event that settling does ever occur Pepin Precast will lift and re-set your concrete steps at no charge to you!
- Poured with reinforced 5000 psi concrete in one solid piece and guaranteed never to crack or fade. Unlike wooden steps which rot, fade, separate and warp, Pepin Precast steps require no maintenance for life!
- Non-skid broom finish on basic concrete steps to avoid slipping.
- Use for either an entrance to a home or building, in between LOC-Blocks, (also see our step blocks!) or embedded into a sloped hill.
RAILINGS
Railings are made from wrought iron and installed upon request. They are rugged yet attractive, functional and required by most home-owners insurance.
